Al-Harith ibn Abd al-Muttalib was the eldest son of Abd al-Muttalib and an uncle of the Prophet ﷺ; his father took the kunya Abu al-Harith after him. As his father's only son at the time, he dug with him to rediscover the well of Zamzam. His sons, the Prophet ﷺ's cousins, include Nawfal, Rabi'ah and Abu Sufyan ibn al-Harith RA.
